Titilola Turton

Titilola received her nurse training at Kennedy King City College in Chicago. An immigrant from Nigeria, prior to nursing, she received a bachelors in accounting. She would later go on to receive training in hospital management, and has worked in numerous positions in and out of the hospital floor. Titilola was the first National President for the National Association of Nigerian Nurses in North America. (NANNNA). Discussion includes nurse organizing, community healthcare outreach, financial advocacy for nurses, healthcare infrastructure in Africa, and facing adversity in healthcare workplaces as a black immigrant.
