Karelle Webb is presently the associate director of Infection Control and Clinical Education for the Erie Family Health Center System in Illinois. She is a graduate of UIC, receiving her BNS in 2016 and her MPH in 2022 both from UIC's College of Nursing. Prior to her work for the Erie health system, she was a bedside nurse in the Chicago Metro region. Interview includes discussion about the Covid-19 response at a Federally Qualified Health Center, the complexities of racial identity, and the impact being an immigrant has had on Karelle’s professional practice and career growth. Interviewers were Karen Flynn and Gwyneth Franck.
